The Optimist Citizen

A Pune based architect-couple is changing the convention by building Natural Houses which doesn’t require ACs.

There have been several myths around natural buildings, one that, they are weak, or that, that they won’t stand for long or that it smells bad. But what if we tell you that these houses can be as strong as their cement counterparts, if not stronger. Meet Dhruvang and Priyanka, an architect couple from Pune who will change your thought process of conventional architecture with their unconventional. Dhruvang first met Priyanka, his future life and work partner at  Architecture from Academy of Architecture in Prabhadevi, Mumbai. Soon they were both working under their professor Architect Malaksingh Gill – the man who introduced them to eco-sensitive architecture. “We were extremely fortunate to be exposed to his philosophy. It really shaped our approach towards architecture.” The experience under him shaped them on how to build their very own way forward.
