How an organization in Bihar is changing the face of Indian agriculture by supporting small farmers with technology and renewed planning

India is a land blessed with a bounty of resources and since ancient times we have relied on them for individual survival as well as national development. In this notion of survival, Agriculture has always been the most prominent source of livelihood for the people of India. Presently, the agricultural sector accounts for about 20 per cent of India’s GDP and provides employment to 59 percent of the country’s working population. But it is fairly obvious that, over the years, the dynamics of agriculture in India have shifted dramatically. During the latter half of the last century, the agricultural sector witnessed a major boost in terms of mechanization and technological advancements.
