The Optimist Citizen has played a stellar role as the media partner of Commutiny – The Youth Collective for Samvidhan LIVE! The Jagrik Project in bringing alive the experiences of jagriks (meaning awakened citizens) to the mainstream. Their inspirational stories of hope shall help in creating more such empowering spaces for young people.

Our association with The Optimist Citizen was quite fortuitous. We entrusted them with a project that was very close to our hearts – that of capturing the essence of the two initiatives of WomenWeave Charitable Trust – ‘Gudi Mudi Khadi’ and ‘The Handloom School’ – through a video documentary. It was a challenging task (but) we need not have worried, for the people at TOC proved more than a match for the job. It was an absolute joy working with them! The result was two excellent video documentaries where their professionalism, integrity, dedication, and creativity shines through. That we were satisfied with the outcome of our engagement would be an understatement.
