DIGITAL EMPOWERMENT FOUNDATION


Established in 2002, Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF) aims to connect remote and under-served communities of India in an effort to equip them with access to information. The Optimist Citizen collaborated for Manthan Awards 2017 in an attempt to bring out featured stories on products and initiatives solving some of the most pertinent woes of society by way of information accessibility. Moreover, we published stories of changemakers from across the country as a special segment called 52 Parindey, in collaboration with DEF.
