With a general furore against the atrocities on women and a rejuvenated fervour towards their development, the issues and solutions are finally making headway on the global stage. But, a slight – albeit small – ignorance might have also gnawed itself in this raging debate. Most of the conversations have revolved around and talked about a smaller niche of urban women and the persistent problems that they face. But, there is a larger segment of our society – the rural heartland of our country – where countless women are fighting to bring change for the brethren of humanity at large.
